Stages
Problem
Discontinued IT training
When IT discontinued support for our global WCMS training, each business division was suddenly responsible for onboarding its own new power users. That responsibility fell to me for my team, and I also ended up training new regional power users across the business.
The challenge wasn’t just the volume of trainees. It was the time zones. With colleagues in APAC and other regions, I was regularly hosting live trainings late into the evening just to get everyone up to speed.
Training scalability
It became clear this approach wouldn’t scale. Every new hire or transfer meant another round of late night sessions, and I was spending more time repeating the same basics than focusing on higher value work. What I needed was a training solution that worked for anyone, anywhere, at any time. Something self guided, consistent, and available on demand.
